Environmental concerns & issues

Most importantly our first concern is the conservation of the natural beauty of the areas we visit. And to abide by the country rules. We try to repect all plant and animal life that thrives in these areas, therefore we only use designated ´green lanes´ or farm tracks en route.

Litter: Unfortunalty some other people who visit these places have little respect for their country side and tend to leave litter. We will strive to combat this by collecting it ourselves, if need be. And we always ensure we pick up after ourselves and ask that if you come on our tours, your´ll do the same.

Fire: As you will be aware, fire in these parts have been known to have started by the carelessness of people with BBQ´s or cigarettes. From time to time The Forestry Commission issue a BBQ ban in public areas.

Because of this we have decided that we will no longer provide hot meals on the day and as an alternative we will provide a freshly prepared picnik instead. We have to respect the locals laws on this issue so feel its not worth the risk just for a hot meal.
